The Whimsy Ostrich

I'm not sure what it is about this little guy but I love his look. He's absolutely perfect for putting a needed smile on a Friends face.

Whimsy Giraffe

I couldn't wait to use this stamp to creat a card for my friend. We've had an ongoing inside joke about Giraffes for a couple of years now. When I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to create a card for her with it. lol

Christmas 2020

I think this year was different but special just the same. My favorite gift this year is my Photo that Don surprised me with from Fracture of the puppies. Too Cute. I will confess that it is Feb 10th and I still have my Christmas Tree in the Media Room. The Bedroom tree came down the end of January. Don actually tried talking me into keeping it up but the beach was waiting. lol.

Happy 2021

Here's hoping that 2021 presents itself were fewer challenges than 2020 did. While there was so much craziness going on in the world with the Covid Pandemic, Political issues and BLM movement all of which are very scary in my opinion. I wish we could go back in time to simpler days. No hate, no Virus or masks required. I miss those days when you could just get together with a friend. Social Distancing has taken the place of Hugs (and trust me I'm a hugger, so this hurts.) Ok, lets talk some happy now. While yes, there was alot going on outside of my house, there was also alot going on inside my house. Yes, Don and I are taking advantage of the Quarantining and Overtime (yes, that is a bonus) and we've done some work in the house. The upstairs has gotten some Wood Floors and new Furniture and our Bedroom has turned into a bit of a Beach Oasis. Don said the other night that it looked like a Bedroom in a beachhouse. Yep, that's what I was going for. On another note, I am now working at home full time and I'm loving it. Yes, I must confess that there are days that I'mm still in my PJ's when Don gets home from work. lol As Don would say, Eeeez fine. Lastly, the holidays. I tried out a new hobby this year and had so much fun with it. Faux mug toppers and Cakes. I was surprised that it was easier than I thought. Took some practice and trial and error but I'd say all in all it was a success. I went all out on the decorating this year. I actually had 3 Christmas trees but with everything going on, I think the whole world went a little more into Christmas this year.

How can it be 10 months since my last post

2020 has really knocked us for a loop. I work in the mortgage industry and this Pandemic has created another Pandemic. I forget what it's like to work a 40 hour work week and while I do enjoy the extra money for some crafty goodness, I'd like some extra time to play with that crafty goodness, lol. Don't get me wrong, I do get to sneak in some playtime but definitely not what I'd like. Some other things that have happened in 2020, I took advantage of Quarantine and redid my kitchen. I absolute am so in love with the Buffalo Plaid and yellow is my favorite color so why not mix it up. Yep, I followed the trend and went with Buffalo plaid & Lemon kitchen. Right now the lemons are put away and the scarecrow is out but I'm loving that as well.

More Christmas Cards

Fun weekend spent making Christmas Cards. Mom is here visiting so I was only able to get one card done but hey...that's better than none right? lol

Happy 1st Birthday Babies

Happy Birthday to my sweet babies. I'll admit that these little guys have stolen my heart which I never thought another puppy could do after losing Bruiser but they have. Their Names are Bailey and Brody and they are two completely different personalities. Bailey (the bigger) has such a happy disposition. Never whines and that tail is constantly going. Brody (aka skootchy per my hubby) is a whiner but he's so darn cute. Only the face a momma could love. Anyways, back to the 1st Birthday Party. We celebrated with their first Ice Cream (Frosty Paws) and they loved it. They even donned their Birthday hats for momma to get a picture. Yes, I'm a scrapper as well as a card maker so this was a necessity. Bailey went with the flow...Brody not so much. lol
