Exhausting but fun day

Well, my mother in law had a pretty bad fall down some stairs and has 3 broken ribs, the good news is that she didn't break her neck or her hip. The good lord was watching over her but unfortunately, she is in a lot of pain so and barely able to move so, instead of going out, my friend Aileen came to my house and we spent the day scrapping, laughing and just hanging out. She's such a sweet person, even brought flowers for my mother in law which definitely helped cheer her up. So back to the scrapping, we literally (with the exception of checking on MIL) scrapped from 10 O'clock this morning until 9:30 tonight. What a great time. Of course she got more done than I did but still so much fun. We have so much in common and I've really grown to cherish our friendship. She's that person that no matter what you need or when you need it, she'll be there for you. The weather is getting a little warmer out and everything is starting to bloom in the back yard. The crabapple trees that I planted last year are now getting their leaves and by next month should be covered in beautiful pink blossoms, the blueberry bushes have now started to blossom as well. I can see my cherished blueberries starting to come alive once again and of course it's just about time to plant those Tomato plants. I love spring when everything just comes alive again. It makes you stop to appreciate the little things. I hope that you find that moment that makes you smile. We all have things that we'd like to change but remember that God is in Control. You make your own Happiness so chose to do that something that will bring that happiness to you and find a way to make someone else's day just a little bit brighter. Oh and just because I've got planting on the brain and believe me when I tell you that I do not have a green thumb, I thought I'd share the proof. These are from last year and can't wait to enjoy them again this year.
